“Consistently good food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

The Monday lunch special for $6; good chopped pork sandwich with fries, coleslaw, and a drink. My wife had the pecan cobbler with ice cream that was too much to finish. Just really reliable Southern food.

“Don't pass this place up!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013 via mobile

Passing thru and decided to eat local. What a great choice!! Service was great - friendly, quick, helpful with menu questions and our drinks were never empty. Our group had: BBQ pork sandwich - awesome! Catfish with fries - some of the best! BBQ nachos with beef - delicious! Good, and I mean good BBQ is hard to find, this place didn't disappoint!

“Good Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

My husband and I ate here while passing through Arkadelphia. It was right across the street from our hotel, so we were able to easily walk to it. We both had the bbq brisket. The brisket was very tasty, but could have been more tender. Their sauce is good, a tad spicy. The baked beans were okay, but had an odd flavor to them - some spice or herb I recognized but couldn't identify. The potato salad was quite yummy. Service was very good.

“Hard times have hit...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013 via mobile

Very disappointed after reading the reviews. Pictures are very misleading. The parking lot is horrible, full of potholes and since it was raining like a lake to walk across. I had chopped pork BBQ sandwich. It came with lots of fries and about a tablespoon of slaw. The pork was dry and certainly not smoked. Not much flavor at all and not piled with meat...pretty skimpy on meat. The fries were good but the tea was weak and not sweet enough. Hubby had same and some cherry cobbler. The clobber was sour and he had to put sugar on it. Wouldn't stop again.
