“Finally Something other than catfish”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013

I ate at KJ's for dinner, and tried the fried pickles, which were delicious, and grilled flounder. The portion of flounder was huge, and it was seasoned perfectly. The service was excellent from the time we walked in, and our waiter was appropriately attentive.

The decor and atmosphere are cohesive, and makes for a casual, but satisfying dining experience. It's so nice to have an option for fish other than fried catfish.

“Great seafood and special right in Auburn.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

We traveled up from the Gulf (and the seafood offered there) and this place was on par or better. We enjoyed the beer and appetizer specials (the fried pickles and oysters on the half shell were excellent). Great service.

“Surprisingly TASTY seafood in Auburn, AL!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

Went to this KJs seafood and steak restaurant randomly last Friday (1/25/13) for the first time and was presently surprised that the food was delicious and nicely portioned and the staff was super friendly! I even had plenty left over to take home! And I even came back this week for lunch! They have a nice lunch menu (cheaper but smaller potions) and even have a happy hour from 4-6! I look forward to returning there very soon!

“Was ok..average.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013 via mobile

Just average. Nothing is get excited over. I probably wouldn't go here again. I did like the atmosphere. Our waitress was really nice but ultimately got busy helping a very large party that came in. The dirty rice was basically just wild rice. Nothing similar to traditional

“Not really a fish camp but still good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

Was looking for a Southern fish camp style catfish house and read the reviews on KJ
Fish Camp. Decided to give it a try. Overall the food was good and the service was excellent. The fried pickles were great and the onion rings good. The catfish was good but just a little salty. They were cooked perfect and golden and had good flavor. Kids chicken and fish tenders were also good. I would go back again.
