I'm from an East Coast city where there are many many fine ethnic restaurants, so I was skeptical about how good Japanese food could be in the deep South. Boy did Samurai Steakhouse change my mind! From soup (Clear Broth) to dessert (Fried Green Tea Ice Cream) the meal was outstanding. To start, we ordered one of the specials (Three Musketeer Roll - salmon, tuna and yellowtail with avocado and cilantro wrapped in soy paper, topped with yuzu sauce) and one item on the regular menu (Crunchy Shrimp Roll - shrimp tempura and crab meat topped with crunch and eel sauce). Both were excellent. The Hibachi Shrimp and Hibachi Scallops were also fabulous, perfectly cooked and complimented with delicious vegetables. This place is worth the trip . . . from Baltimore!
