“Very good small dish place.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

This is one of these small dish/big dish places where depending on how hungry you are you can choose from appetizer sized dishes or entree sized dishes. The food was very good quality (we loved the wild mushroom napoleon and the crab cakes were also very good). The s'mores creme brulee was also delicious.

“Excellent food, limited menu, open atmosphere, service needs improvement”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

While staying at the Courtyard Embassy Row we had dinner and breakfast here. The dinner menu is not extensive but offers the standard seafood and steak entrees. The salmon entree was prepared nicely and the steak cooked to order. Service was ok. this is a small restaurant with not a large staff. The restaurant is open to the hotel lobby which distracted from the atmosphere in my opinion. Breakfast service was slow and one evening we left before our server even acknowledged us due to the long wait. I do not think it is the servers fault, it is simply because the restaurant fills to the capacity and it is clear there are not enough servers for the number of patrons. Still, an excellent option if you are staying there and can time your visit to when the restaurant is not as busy. Good food.

“good seafood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

This was my first time at Nage and it was for lunch. My waiter was great and very helpful. The bread came with humus instead of butter. The hummus was great. Butter may be available if you ask for it. I ordered the fried calamari appetizer and the trout. Both were very good. A lot of people were ordering burgers, and they looked delicious. While this is a "seafood" resturant, I may try the burger next time.

I was surprised that the resturant was in a hotel and had such good food. The menu is rather limited, but there's good variety. I'd rather eat at a resturant with a limited menu that is well prepared than a place with more extensive, but "so so" offerings.

The portions are adequate. My appetizer and entree (along with the bread) left me sated, but not stuffed.

I look forward to my next visit.

“Very Good Bistro Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

A nice variety of bistro food in a very attractive space on Scott Circle. We were there pre-theater (it's within walking distance of the Studio Theater) and service was brisk. Salad, onion soup, salmon and chicken were all well-prepared and tasty.

“Is this really hotel food?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013 via mobile

This is a place where people that dont stay at the hotel come to eat. They dont have a large beer selection but they have a great beer selection. The menu rotates with what the chef can get fresh. I have had great oysters, pork belly, schnitzel, burgers, the warm veggie salad is wonderful. Bree the bartender makes you feel at home.
