Beautiful hotel near the White House with historical significance that both my 8 and 6 year old could appreciate. Staff were attentive, professional and friendly. The hotel room was spacious and clean. One minor warning - skip the morning breakfast at the hotel - a petite French buffet that came with a grande check. The food was good, however this was hands-down the most expensive breakfast my family has ever eaten! And, we didn't have cocktails just two hot chocolates, tea and coffee.

I had a great time at the Willard! It's a well located, beautifully decorated historic hotel with friendly staff and comfortable rooms. It's walking distance from the White House, US Capitol, various Memorials and wonderful museums! It's also walking distance from various shopping stores. Cafe Du Park is great! Their breakfast buffet is fabulous and so is their dinner menu. The Occidental Grill & Seafood Restaurant next door also offers a wonderful dinner option. The Round Robin & Scotch Bar is a great place to relax and savor your favorite drink. The room was clean, modern, and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommended.

Stayed at Xmas for 5 days at it was magical. The xmas brunch was spectacular, the lobby so beautiful. Service at front desk was excellent. Location was also amazing. Housekeeping and room service not very fast but OK. Overall, however, an outstanding and memorable stay. Would highly recommend if you can afford it.

I've tried to get a reasonably priced room at the Willard for many years because of its historic relevance. I finally got one that fit within my travel allotment (~$200) and now, it will be difficult to go back to anything less. The location can't be beat if you want to see any of the museums or monuments. There are many great restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very friendly, helpful and more than willing to share historic information about the property. My room was quiet, roomy and the bed very comfortable. I hope I can afford to return. Keep a look out for specials and don't be afraid to call to see if you can get a better rate than is listed on their web site.
