We booked the Washington Court Hotel through a SniqueAway deal for Labor Day Weekend, 2011. We had no issues checking in, and our request for a view of the Capitol was granted, and it was amazing! Our room was very comfortable, spacious, and the perfect place to end the days of sight-seeing.

Desk help was different night and day - the night staff seemed a bit out of it, but the day staff were really, really helpful. The WiFi in the lobby is free, but was not working when we used it, and the gal at the desk was kind enough to give us a free code to use the room WiFi.

The hotel is a great location - we were within walking distance of everything there is to see in the Capital.

Bit late in coming sorry about that, we stayed here in jan 11 and what a great place it was. We stayed in a room with 2 queens with an interconnecting parlour room and it was fantastic for our family of 5,2 of those teenagers and 2 of those adults and the space was incrdible value. Whats more we were about a 5 to 10 min walk from Union station so we got off the train from New York to Washington suitcases in hand and walked to the hotel. The rooms were get beautifully and they were decorated very tastefully, across the road was a Starbucks for our coffee fill and we had a ridiculously cheap breakfst at the cafe across the road to save on a hotel bksfst, great value. Each day we walked up to Union station and jumped on our hop on hop off bus tour to see the sights and didnt miss a thing and the one day we stayed at the Pentagon shopping centre and ate dinner it was less than $20.00 to get back to the Washington by taxi. We ate a couple of dinners at the Union station, cheap and basic but a great way to recoup some spending money, Victoria Secret shopping there is incredible too. So all in all the Court is a great place to stay, lovely staff, quiet, safe location and heaps of space for a budget price because Washington can be pricey, loved it and would stay again..

My son and I stayed here for 5 nights and were quite pleased with every aspect. Beds were comfy, cleaning was fine, bar was good. I guess my only complaint would be that they didn't have the Washington Post available at our door on Sunday. Also, there was a $10/night credit I got off the internet and I did have to ask for it when we checked out, and there was a bit of activitiy to reflect it on the bill.
