We were pretty disappointed with our stay at the Rogue. Check in was good, the room was a great size, but it felt decidedly 'all fur coat and no knickers'. It was like an aged, old motel had had a lick of paint and some funky pieces of furniture/ pictures - yes, but it lacked cohesion with some pieces working against the theme. It seemed a few corners had been cut to save on costs - the bathroom has some scruffy edges and had that horrid 'fousty' smell of damp/ drains.
Our room was carpeted - it was dark coloured and quite rough (maybe nylon based) with no slippers provided - it certainly wasn't glamourous feeling.
We felt the bill was expensive but, sorry, the accomodation in no way came close to earning the price.
