We have come to expect a high level of service from Park Hyatt and this hotel lived up to our expectations. Even though we visited in Inauguration week, the staff attended rapidly and efficiently to all our requests, and we actually did make several ( a pair of scissors, a tape measure, an extra chair, etc). the hotel was quiet and peaceful throughout, although there was an air of excitement. In addition, each guest staying over the big day received a boxed set of beautiful art cards of Washington scenes, a delightful touch.

Quick check in, although we travelled as a group but very efficient.
Rooms are great although I have to be honest they gave me an upgrade. The bathroom is one of those you set your alarm 15 minutes earlier to enjoy the great shower. We had dinner in the restaurant and we were surprised great food for a very reasonable price.
Last but not least everything was very very clean, something most hotels these days are underestimating.

Wife and I went for a one night weekend stay to celebrate my birthday in early January. When they found out it was my birthday they upgraded us to a great suite. After returning from a late afternoon walk in Georgetown, a bottle of top notch champagne, delicious apple pastry with a candle on top and a personalized birthday card from the manager was waiting for us in the room. Unbelievable!
Hotel, room, facilities and particularly the service was outstanding. Kudos to the manager and staff for running a first class hotel.

I love this hotel because of the friendly staff and location. I never stay at a hotel twice because there is always something, I find that is not up to standard at the other establishments, but this hotel is the exemption. I would stay here many times over because of the hotel's standards of customer service, cleanliness, warmth and just overall great "5" star service...I would give it another star because of the "Blue Duck Tavern", where we ate breakfast every day. The food was excellent. We did have a problem with our food bill everyday, but the hotel corrected it.

I want to thank the staff for making our stay during Thanksgiving 2012 unforgettable. We are going to Australia this summer and will be staying at a Park Hyatt. I decided to stay there because I think it will be the same standards as the one in Washington DC. If not, i would suggest they make Washington DC Park Hyatt the standard for all the Park Hyatts in the world.
