This is a traditional hotel that's in a great DC location, but feels like it's outside of DC's "hubbub". Its main restaurant is very beautiful, with a view into Rock Creek Park. In warm weather (which I didn't benefit from) it'd be nice to walk or run in the Park, with is right outside the door. The hotel is <1/4 mile away from the Metro's Red Line (which goes directly to Union Station, and connects easily to all the other lines within a stop or two/three/four). And, it's in Adam's Morgan, which has an urban residential feel coupled with reasonably priced ethnic restaurants. Also less than 1/4 mile away is a large CVS, which is always nice to have nearby for purchasing items inadvertently left home.
