The rooms, the lobby, it all hardens back to the hotel's glory days when Sinatra and presidents made it their haunt. As rooms go, it's just fine if unsurprising. The hospitality is of a higher order and the concierge staff is particularly good. Likewise the bar staff. Fitness room actually over-equipped. Can't turn around without bumping into high-end gear. The neighborhood contains a few good restaurants and the metro station. Georgetown is nearby but you'll need a cab or healthy legs.
