“An excellent place to stay!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

The D.C. Embassy suites is a very good hotel. It had every thing that we needed. The breakfast there was amazing, it is better then any hotel breakfast that I ever had. The rooms were amazing, the beds were so comfortable to sleep in. It is very clean and the room service was great. And very nice people there. You also get what you pay for. I am very pleased with D.C. Embassy suites and if I go back to D.C. I am going to stay at the Embassy suites.

We were there on July 4th. Overall the hotel is nice and clean. Location is very convenient, close to Metro station and other attractions. The breakfast area is very crowded on July 4th day, and expected long time if you arrive at the peak time.
In the hotel room, the shower stream is kind of small.

One of the best things about Embassy Suites is that you get a lot more room in your room for your money. True here also. Hotel was full of families and the rooms on both sides of us had small kids, but never heard a sound through the walls. Hotel decor is not the newest, but hotel is clean. It is also very convenient, especially for the price. 15 minute walk to the Lincoln Memorial, and twice we walked to Georgetown in 10 minutes to get dinner. A shout out to the doormen who were all helpful and nice; and especially Glenn who who proved himself an honest man when no one is looking.
Only downside is the $12.95 per day charge for WiFi, so be prepared for it, or live with 4G.

Well-kept and clean hotel in a convenient location. Managers were friendly and accessible to guests. I stayed here on vacation with my husband, and while there were many children in the pool area, I did not find this to be an issue in any other part of the hotel. We had a quiet and enjoyable stay, and felt it was a very good value for the price. (If you stay here, walk to Rasika around the corner or some great Indian food!)

I was traveling with my family & we liked this hotel. It had all the amenities we were looking for. The pool was small. The breakfast was very busy & took a long time waiting in line. The staff was great. Had problem with the thermostat but the staff fixed it very quick!

I stayed at this hotel several times, always for business reasons, last time in November 2012. Hotel is on very good location. Everything is relatively close - Georgetown, Government buildings etc.
Atrium of the hotel is may be its best feature - with palms and fountains. Hotel service is excellent - nice receptionists, servers and waiters. Apartments are spacious, with everything you need inside - refrigerator, two TVs, iron and ironing board, etc. It is clean and modern. Breakfast is excellent, with several dishes in offer and cooks preparing all kinds of omelettes in front of you. Lunch and diner are also great.

Thank you for choosing us again on your return trip, and the kind words. It is most gratifying in our business when we know we have made a difference. I am proud of our team and the service culture that we have built together. I have shared your comments with our staff as recognition for another job well done! Our location holds a distinct advantage when visiting the area - convenient to Georgetown, business district and all the traditional DC attractions. Please come see us again soon!

The breakfast was horrible. There was an extremely long line. There was no plates; when plates arrived there were no forks. There were no places to sit down; we had only sausages and potatoes available to us. NOTHING ELSE. The scrambled eggs arrived late and the pancakes never made it. The line for cooked to order was ridiculously long. Both nights we are asked to park two blocks away from the hotel since the hotel parking was filled. Very inconvenient after a tiring day at the Mall. I had to re-register for internet access in the morning....because of this we were charged twice for internet which we had to get adjusted at checkout. The hotel was obviously sold out for 4th of July. This should not have been a surprise; you guys are in Washington, DC after all; but apparently the breakfast and parking infrastructure are not adequate for a sold out night.
