We would recommend this hotel. Clean, friendly, good location and free shuttle to Union Station. I would stay here again.

Great location close to Metro with a wide range of restaurants close by in a pretty quiet neighborhood. Nice staff. Clean, comfortable room.

This is really just a run of the mill Days Inn in terms of quality so I wasn't too disappointed with that expectation set. Room was a little dated, but just okay and it was quite ... which is important to me. However, I feel that for $149.00/night plus huge DC hotel taxes (20%), was too steep. The sole reason I stayed there for that price was its proximity to American University and the Metro. Having said that, if you do not have a specific reason to be in that neighborhood, I would recommend staying in Alexandria or somewhere just as close but is more reasonable in cost.

We arrived in the evening and check in went well enough but when my son got into his bed there was a pair of men's underwear in his sheets. I immediately called down to the front desk and they said they would tell housekeeping. I waited 20 minutes and nobody arrived. I called down again and waited... Nothing. Finally, my daughter and I went to the front desk where I was eventually told there weren't actually any housekeeping people on staff. The guy had just made it up to get me off the phone. He said they didn't have any other rooms available which I questioned and THEN he put us in a room that had been used as a smoking room. When we said that was unacceptable, he finally put us in a room right next to the elevator. We cancelled the rest of our stay. Never again. They charged us the full price for the night we stayed even though we didn't get to our room until almost midnight.

Thank You for taking the time to write a review about your experience during your recent visit to our hotel. Your comments are very important to us. This helps us see how we are doing and if changes need to be made. I have discussed these concerns with our housekeeping department to prevent future embarrasing situations from occurring. I'm confident that if we get the pleasure of your visit again, you will experience and enjoy the service that you expect from a Days Inn.

i came to washington dc with my family for the national epilepsy walk and a little get away,we stayed at the hotel for 3 nights,it was a little expensive compared to some of the other hotels that were looked into,we picked this hotel because it was in a nice area, needless to say the beds were very small and very uncomfortable, they give you pillows that are half the size of normal pillows, there is no continental breakfast here...except for coffee which is like mud, also there is no other place anywhere near here that is open for breakfast except burger king which is right next door.

I had a pleasant stay. My room faced a sidestreet. This meant the room was quiet. The had anice HD TV. The channel selection was ok. The room was clean. The only odd thing was the lack of towel racks. This meant I had clean towels every day. The hotel was 2.5 blocks from the Metro station. The neighborhood seemed safe. There is a good chinese restaurant across the street. While close to the Metro, the hoetl is not really close to much. The elevators are a little slow and bit small. The bed was comfortable and it had many pillows. The WiFi worked well.

A great week-long experience began with "Preston" at the front desk, a very helpful and friendly gentleman! The hotel lobby and rooms are very nice and clean (get a room with a view over Connecticut Ave), and fresh coffee in the lobby is always on. Parking is safe, easy and free and the Metro is a block away allowing very convenient travel anywhere throughout the district. Numerous resturants and grocery/drug store are a block away. Within a few blocks is Dupont Circle and/or Wisconsin Ave with many resturants and high-end shopping. Rock Creek Park, a great "natural area" operated by the National Park Service is a few blocks down Military Ave. At less than half of hotels deeper into the city and still very convenient to everywhere via the metro, I'll be back everytime I have business in DC.
