My wife and I took to the train to Washington for some sightseeing. The Phoenix Park is only a couple of blocks from Union Station so it was very convenient. There is a restaurant in the hotel as well as many eating places nearby including a food court at Union Station. The Capitol, Library of Congress and Supreme Court buildings are just a short walk away. The room was very comfortable. Service was excellent. The only down side was that the room never got really warm which we would have liked since it was a cold windy day that we were there.
