The Phoenix Park is among my very favorite spots in DC. I stay there frequently and have had rooms of various sizes and shapes, all of which have been clean and comfortable. The food (room service and/or Dubliner) is simple and good. The service is wonderful--friendly staff. The internet connection is reliable. And the location makes metro or taxi catching easy.

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel and both stays have been nice. The rooms are old fashioned with interesting wallpaper/drapery combos, but very cozy. The beds are comfy and the rooms are clean. It's right near Union Station which is convenient for shopping, food, and the metro. There is also a restaurant next door for breakfast. Staff were very polite. The rooms are small, but have everything you need.

Location, location location!! Beautiful room, wonderful room service meal and the location is unbeatable. We will definitely stay there any time our trips bring us to or through Washington, D.C. My daughter and I walked to the Capitol Building and from there to The Museum of Natural History, The Washington Monument and The Holocaust Museum. All were within an easy walk. The people we interacted with at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful with our "tourist questions". An added plus, when you make a reservation and actually speak to a nice, helpful person, it makes the world of difference. A+, Phoenix Park Hotel.

The Phoenix surpassed my expectations by providing upscale service: Doorman, Valet, courtegous desk staff, unseen housekeeping. The rooms are quaint, very clean and very quiet. I was here on business and would Definately return to this hotel. Excellent location near Union station and Capital. Great views.
