Unfortunately we had a rather unpleasant stay. The biggest issue was based on a misunderstanding event, with a manager who has no concept of hospitality and did not listen to what hotel guests had to say. The outcome was a unnecessarily painful one.
We were accused with smoking in the the room and had to pay a fine of 500.00 USD plus tax. The truth is WE DID NOT SMOKE IN THE ROOM.
We were traveling with a family member visiting from Asia who is a smoker and carries a small metal box for cigarette butts throughout the day while we were out. The thing did happen was that one morning my family member cleaned out his cigarette butt metal box into the garbage can in the bathroom.
After we learned this shocking news that we received a 500.00 USD fine, we tried to explain to the housing manager Olena, she simply dismissed our explanation and said the fine will stay on the bill and then she went over all the items that need to be clean in the room. Logically a bunch cigarette butts will have some smell, not to the point that the entire room gets polluted, and especially in this case NO ONE SMOKE IN THE ROOM. No matter what we said, Olena did not listen to the truth we offered.
Paying for mistakes that you did not do is unfair.
Being accused for things that you did not do is an insult... We had no idea our little vacation in DC turned out this way, our guest was mortified, just because of some misunderstanding happened and an individual's inadequacy at The Graham.

The Graham Hotel staff members were the most hospitable, caring, and informative group that we have encountered in a very long time. They were all eager to aid us in every way, and are the best thing about The Graham. That said, I don't want to take away from the beautiful suite we stayed in or the perfect location for exploring Georgetown! It is located just off M street with plenty of shops and restaurants like Clyde's (which we loved), and only two blocks above the Washington Harbor Front plaza. You can't go wrong staying at this hotel. One bit of advise if you drive there, take advantage of the valet parking at The Graham and explore the area on foot. Trying to find overnight parking on your own is difficult, to say the least.

Overall a nice place where you get value for the money spent. The general staff are extremely kind and helpful. Unfortuantely management needs a reset or days back at hospitality school 101. Presently staying here. Booked a room with breakfast included however the restaurant itself is closed and the hotel made an accommodation to have room service but we prefer a restaurant setting for breakfast and wanted a credit for the prepaid breakfast surcharge. Oh no the manager said. If we readjust your room rate now you will be paying more as the rates have gone up she said. Asked her to find what the differential was at the current rate and the breakfast surcharge and she says can't do that either as now our rates are inclusive of the breakfast amount. Said to her calculate what you think is fair for the breakfast surcharge and issue a credit for that amount and she said "I have no idea". Really, you are the manage and you have no idea as to what your breakfast surcharge per person is? Give me a break. While the general staff are nice and accommodating it seems is the management policy is we got your money, ha ha ha. Buyer beware. Management here needs to go back to hospitality class 101!!!

It was my pleasure speaking to you on the phone yesterday in regards to your reservation and I am delighted to see that you chose to stay with us while visiting our nation's capital. Thank you for highlighting the service provided by the staff at our hotel, they are truly a valuable asset to our operations, however, I am disappointment that you found certain aspects of your stay unpleasant. As mentioned in our phone conversation yesterday, the reservation you booked was nearly made over two and a half weeks ago, meaning that the package, occupancy and availability of that particular rate are no longer available due to demand. Our current best available rate, which includes breakfast, is higher than it was at the time and adjusting your rate will reflect an increase in your room rate. Due to the fact that our packages are built differently and cost is different from standard room rates, calculating the difference is not how a credit would be made. Please keep in mind that our hotel provides breakfast through two channels. Our in-room service option and the hotel restaurant service breakfast on a daily basis from 6.30am to 10am. As disclosed in our reservation letters that our guests receive, once a booking is confirmed, and the hotel website, the hotel restaurant is going through a renovation to feature our new speak-easy product which is opening at the end of this month. This has allowed us to still serve breakfast via the in-room dining service only for a temporary period. Again, thank you for your feedback and we appreciate you taking the time to offer it to us as you are currently in-house. I do hope that the rest of your stay provides you with a different experience and if I can be of any assistance to you, do not hesitate to reach out to me.

I went to this hotel in thanksgiving. It was a very good experience, the service was really good and the staff very nice. The room was clean and big. The are excellet restaurants near to the hotel and many stores. I recommend this hotel for stay for a weekend and walk for the hot spots in DC.

We had a short stay at The Graham Georgetown in January. The hotel is in a great location, just minutes from shopping and restaurants. The rooms are a good size and decorated classy modern and the bed was particularly comfortable. I adored the staff who were so helpful and friendly. I defiantly plan to be back.

Room Tip: Get a high floor if possible and NOT facing the old (and now closed down) hotel behind it.

This hotel has an excellent location, the room are spacious and nice. The breakfast staff are fab and very attentive.
For two nights, we had a party going on in the room next doors. The night staff members were not able to stop it and when we spoke to the receptionist the day after the couldn't be bothered,
This is a hotel that attracts spring Break young people, don't go if you are looking for a quiet place.

The Graham is the perfect boutique hotel. The service is superb, rooms are quiet and spacious. Everyone there are very helpful and friendly - shout out to Charrod . Do not plan on getting up early, the beds are amazingly comfortable. The location is convenient, Baked and Wired is across the street, don't miss that. I will be back.
