“The Graham: a gem”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

This boutique hotel in a gorgeous old house off the main street in lovely Georgetown is a revelation: standards - of service, of facilities, of room settings and overall comfort and ease - are as good as one could get anywhere, with rooms (and bathrooms!) of a singularly high order; with free internet (if you choose correctly); with a real sense of relief on arrival at being so well looked after. They really know how to make a hotel guest at home, at ease and rest.

Room Tip: Go for the larger room and bed. Though I suspect they are all good.

I cannot say enough about how friendly, accommodating, and lovely the personnel at The Graham were during my visit. I don't usually write reviews but they were so inviting and charming that I felt compelled, and will definitely come back in the future. The hotel itself is a great balance of eccentric design with classic comforts, not overly hip- unique, fresh but still relaxing. The rooftop bar has a wonderful view of the city and the bartender was super friendly. He had had whipped up a custom bourbon cider that was perfect for fall, which was a nice personal touch you don't get at most hotels. It is literally in the middle of Georgetown and right by the canal. You can walk to all the best restaurants and shops. Again, awesome people, awesome place, very pleased with my experience.

We had the pleasure of staying at The Graham the weekend of 10/11/14. It is located in the heart of Georgetown, making it extremely easy to take advantage of the fabulous shopping and great restaurants the city has to offer. The hotel is very chic and reminiscent of a smaller version of the luxurious Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. The room was large and extremely well appointed with a beautiful bathroom. The bedding and mattress were extremely comfortable and the room was exceptionally quiet. The staff were all professionally trained and extremely friendly from valet parking, front desk check in, housekeeping and the staff at the roof top bar. They have a restaurant, business center and fitness center that we did not have time to take advantage of. Hopefully on our next stay. One of the biggest draws for this property is their fabulous roof top bar. With excellent views of the Washington Monument, Kennedy Center, Potomac and surrounding Georgetown, it's a show stopper. Lively bar area and then more private tables and lounging areas around the other side of the bar. Drinks and service were exceptional. We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Room Tip: We stayed in a Luxury King Suite but I think all of the rooms are equally well appointed and because...

We just had a wonderful stay at the Graham for our 12 year anniversary. The hotel is in a great location with lots of cute little shops and cafes very close. The hotel suite was amazing! The bathroom was huge and the tub was luxurious, not to mention the King size plush bed. The whole stay was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed drinks at the rooftop bar each night and had a great time. The front desk manager was very professional and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay in Georgetown.

Room Tip: We had a suite on the end and really enjoyed the view!

Just had a great stay at The Graham hotel in Georgetown. On arriving, got an upgrade to a Junior King Suite - very nice. Bed was super comfortable, having the best sleeps of our trip so far. Roof top bar is very popular, both with guests and locals. Lovely breakfast, with the staff really looking after us. All staff, especially, Abdulla, were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Also, great location in Georgetown and conveniently located to DC attractions.

I've stayed in many hotels, but I am very rarely truly impressed. The Graham did that. From the two room suite, to the rooftop bar, to the restaurant and quality of food, this is it as far as I'm concerned.
Seven of us had dinner there and there were no complaints out of anyone. I truly enjoyed my dinner. The restaurant did not carry a Riesling wine which I wanted, but that is a minor compared to everything else. Checking into the hotel was a joy and checkout was not necessary. My only beef would be the over $50 charge to park the car for a night.

I arrived to this hotel a bit late on a Friday evening but I was greeted by a friendly front desk agent. The front desk agent saw that I was tired from traveling and stated that she was going to get me into a room quickly. I was weiry about the room I would get since I book on a last minute site, but I was pleasantly surprised with room 202. It had a sitting area with a television, a large bathroom with a double vanity, long hallway which lead to a desk, king size bed and another television. This room was big and nicely decorated. The hotel is in a trendy area with lots of shopping.

Bit of advice of if you are a soft sleeper ask for a room that does not face the street, because you hear all the people late at night leaving from the rooftop bar. Also you have to walk out to the nearest street to catch a taxi because it seems that taxis do not stop in front of the hotel. When leaving I had lug my luggage a half of block to catch a taxi. But, once at the corner it was not difficult to catch a taxi at all.
