My wife and I stayed at the Graham for a total of four nights, from Jan 31 to Feb 4 for a combination get-away/business trip. While the staff was fantastic and our overall experience was very nice, a couple of things left a lot to be desired. The first two mornings there was absolutely no hot water for our showers. The only explanation that we received was that the hotel was 100% booked and that a lot of people were showering at the same time. That is not an acceptable excuse. If the building plant is up to par, the capacity and volume of hot water should be based upon over 100% capacity. I do not have to take cold showers at home, and certainly don't expect to when I am staying at a high-end hotel. After talking with the front desk about the lack of hot water I also talked with a manager. We were offered a different room, but did not want to move half way through our stay. We were offered no other concession or form of apology, which was disappointing.
The second thing that stood out was that while the Keurig machine in the room was nice, it makes NO sense to only have one caffeinated pod and one regular creamer in a king room (the other creamers were flavors like peppermint mocha). At least two per day would make sense, considering that two guests often share a king room.
While our stay was positive overall, the Graham definitely has some room for improvement.
