Really enjoyed our time at Adams Inn, the staff where very friendly and always ready to help with anything they could.

It seriousley was like staying in someones home, we had a room with two double beds in the building next to the main one, the two houses are set out ver homely and you can watch TV in the lounge, there is laundry facilities in the basement and a fully equipped kitchen with tea and coffee facilities.

The gardens at the property are spectacular and you can go out and eat your breakfast in them, breakfast was a top end continental affair and totally filled us up till lunch time.

Add all this to free internet and the fact that Adams Inn is situated in the more 'hip' part of town with great resteraunts just around the corner. If youre liek us and dont really like the big hotels than Adams in provides an appropriate relaxing stay in DC.

We were attracted by the weekly rates, to this Inn and met a number of "longer-stay' friendly guests like ourselves.
The Inn is only one street away from lots of local eating places of all nationalities and prices (ahelpful list of staff favorites was provided) & supermarket, if you wanted to take advantafe of the small, (adequately equipped) kitchenette (includes dishwasher) that some guests took advantage of and ate supper "in" and made lunches at the start of the day.
Continental breakfast at 8am was plentiful and if you had an early start there was always packaged breakfast cereal bars available, though not as abundant.
For an old building with a few creaky floors & stairs, and thin walls, we were rarely disturbed, except for one busy night with late arrivals. Airconditioned rooms, if required, great to be able to open the windows for fresh air. We had a very nice room with bathroom.
Truly located one short block from the new Circulator bus & Metro bus & a 15 min. walk to the Metro station.
Staff were friendly and attentive to any requests, would stay there again if we were in DC.

The Adams Inn was a trip back into the time of simple pleasures - like visiting grandma's only better. The staff were warm, friendly, and hospitable. Our bed & bath rooms were comfortably spacious and clean with ample room in dressers & closet. It felt like being a guest in grandma's best room with coverlet on the bed and fluffy white towels on the top of the dresser. The desk was large and had room for the laptop, electric rollers and books. No TV in the rooms - hurray - what a get away! There was a TV and game area downstairs complete with ever-full candy jar. The two breakfast areas were conducive to chit chat with the other guests or you could choose a more private meal on the porch or near the garden. The Inn was close to the metro and down the street was a Starbucks and Mc D's for those inclined...lots of family owned eateries nearby. I've always stayed at hotels before but would go back to this B&B as long as I had a room with a private bath. We spent 5 nights in this charming, quiet, place while we attended a graduation and toured the city.

This was my first time at this B&B. I really enjoyed the location with the multiple restaurants in Adams Morgan. The staff was very helpful and the inn is very well kept. I plan to stay there any time I go to DC.

After parking around the back of the inn in a double garage, we were able to check in and view our room, located at the rear of the property with a private bathroom and nice, bright and spacious room. It was a brisk 10 minute walk to the nearest subway stop at Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan, well placed for exploring Washington. We had a light breakfast of cereal and yoghurt, although there was a selection of toast and jams available. The next morning our host was kind enough to let us use the new computer in the office to print off some details we needed for our onward journey and was helpful, informative and friendly for our whole stay.
