We stumbled upon the Old Stone House while shopping in Georgetown and had a very nice experience. The house was built in the 1770's and appears to be very close to original on the inside. It was a chance for the kids to actually see and feel something old and historic without having to touch it. It was put into perspective when we were walking away from the house and my 12 year old son looked up at another building that had the date 1889 on the top and he said "just think, when they were building this building in 1889 they were probably all amazed at the old stone house that was built OVER 100 YEARS AGO!!!"
