“Sobering reminder of those who gave all.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

As a former law enforcement officer, I am probably slightly biased toward this memorial, but it is a place of great sadness and respect for me and all of those who I have viewed it with. The names of slain officers are carved into the walls that surround the site with the bronze lions standing guard over them. If you are in the area, please take a moment to stop and honor these men and women.

“An Appropriate Tribute”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012 via mobile

Our law enforcement are "unsung heroes" too often. This was a wonderful way to honor the fallen and pay your respects.

“A moving tribute to those who give so much every day.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

I'm a police officer, so I'm a bit biased, but this is truly a humbling memorial. Seeing the names of America's Finest fallen officers, you'll soon realize how much these amazing men and women gave every day of their lives. If you know one (or more) of the fallen, the memorial provides paper and pencils for "rubbings" of names on the wall. Take just a moment and reflect on America's heroes.

“Please take a moment of silence.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012 via mobile

Just go there for a few minutes and take a moment of silence if you're in DC. It not about how aesthetically pleasing you feel the memorial might be.. It's about taking a moment of your life and honoring the men and women in blue who died protecting us. For they did not want to die but they did so with honor and distinction.

“Nice tribute”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

While I wish there didn't have to be a place like this, it is a very moving tribute to all those who have given their lives over the years in law enforcement. I look forward to when the museum is open, I believe planned for 2014.
