“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

This memorial with its pool and fountain was a nice place to sit and enjoy the afternoon. The quotes around the memorial were familiar but still moving.

“A Bright Memorial”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

Different than other memorials, this one is very open, with a beautiful fountain in the center of it. Off to one of the sides, there is a fountain with the names of all the battles of WWII. Check out your state's wreath, and keep an eye open for Kilroy, he is hard to kind, but look around. There are two statues for the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, which are very beautiful. It is also an amazing tribute to the brave soldiers, and having relatives that fought in this bloody war really made it more powerful. This is another must-see memorial.

“Different, but good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

This is one of my wife's favorite memorials, and my daughter and I both enjoyed it as well. The design of it is unlike the other memorials and is nice to see.

“Moving Visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

This is a very moving monument. The center is beautiful but the "stations" that are around it has a huge impact. The greatest generation indeed.
Do not go thinking you can park very close. Take the metro or the tourist buses.
