“It is worthy the visit”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

Like the other memorials in DC, this one is worthy the visit. But if one really wants to know about the war, one should visit the Holocaust museum.

A fairly new Memorial that is definitely something you should see-especially if you have relatives or loved ones that served in World War II

“Beautiful Memorial to the Greatest Generation Veterans!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

We spent about an hour at this fairly new memorial and enjoyed it very much. We met several veterans who had fought in WWII which was extra special.

“Beautiful.my best memorial”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

Reviewed December 30, 2012 NEW

I thought this was a probably the best memorial. It sits between the Lincoln and Washington memorials as one reviewer already mentioned. There are many opportunites for good pictures and with all the states gathered there ;people take pictures infront of the ones they belong to ,the ones they have visited ..pretty interesting as well are the quotes on the wall .

“Elegantly and beautifully impressive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

This is a very formal war memorial and I think a very fitting one for a war in which we were fighting a truly vicious enemy.
