“Very well done”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

Hadn't been to DC for a few years, so hadn't seen this memorial before. Spouse's father was in WWII, so it was very special to her. Very well done and a nice addition to the mall.

“So impressive!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

My father was a WWII vet, and unable to visit this memorial, so we took lots of photos to show him. He was very honored by the magnificence of this memorial.

“Stunning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

We visited this memorial at night, and it was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend seeing this memorial around dusk, if you get a chance, so that you can see all the detail, but also get the benefit of seeing it illuminated. It is a stop on the Free Tours by Foot tour, and it was one of my favorites.

“awesome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

we stopped out here on our night of running around to different monuments. This one is probably one of my favorites. I've always been intrigued by WWII and it's great that we have such a large monument to honor those brave men who went to end the war. WWII doesn't just hold significance for us but for a lot of people around the world. This monunment was absolutely awesome and when I return to DC I will revisit and take better photos more than likely. I would highly recommend people to visit this monument to those who gave or risked their life for our freedom.
