It is great to see during the day but you should try to see it at night as well!

“So-so experience”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2012

I would not travel out of my way to see this. Does not compare to Vietnam for the power of the experience. Parking and public transit are difficult.

“A Fitting Tribute to the Greatest Generation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2012 via mobile

This is truly a perfect monument to the men and women who fought in World War II. Although their generation is dwindling, their children and grandchildren should all make it a point to visit this wonderful monument. The water surrounded by columns representing all of the states, with the fountains in the water is just wonderful. It took a long time coming but it was worh the wait.
