“Fresh delicious bread!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2013

Soup, rolls & sandwiches were delicious, esp the tomato soup & roasted turkey sandwich! The chocolate chip cookie & fresh orange were below average.

“Nice place...but food not to our tastebuds.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

We stopped here for a bit to eat on our way to The White House. The street area was very nice, and the restaurant seemed very busy with a variety of customers. Although very busy, the line moved very quickly. Seating was taken, so we persuaded our teenage son's to grab seats as soon as they became available.
We ordered 2 Egg Salad With arugula on olive bread at $15.95, 2 Turkey on Ciabatta with mayo at $15.95, 2 Fries at $4.80 and 4 Fountain Sodas $7.96 totalling $49.20 with tax included.
My husband & I didn't realised the "egg salad" came as a form of sandwich, and not an egg salad with bread, as we know it. Both the egg and turkey sandwiches were huge, so excellent value for money!!! The mashed egg was more diced though, and the olive breads consisted of sundried tomatoes. Unfortunately, all 4 of us were of the view the food was not to our taste buds. That's not to say it was awful food...it was just not to our taste buds.
Also, we were somewhat confused about the layout of the counter etc particularly in getting drinks...the self service drinks area was around the corner of the counter, which wasn't explained to us. Therefore, we were wondering around, unsure in what we needed to do to get drinks...being British; we didn't want to just help ourselves. Also, the drinks area had a rather awkward layout...having no place to place our tray whilst getting drinks, proved a bit of a balancing act.
Still, a very nice and popular place to grab a bit to eat!

“Excellent value and great tasting food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

Stopped in for a quick lunch on a wet/cold day. Had a soup and sandwich meal. Excellent tasting sandwich, the bread was fresh, the soup was hearty and delicious. Was very busy with the business crowd but thats to be expected on a weekday. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a quick and delicious lunch.
