Rarely have I have wanted to return to a place simply to eat brussel sprouts! But they were so delectable, so flavorful that we had to order seconds... we might have ordered thirds but it seemed like we were getting out of control. Lovely atmosphere and tempting cocktails.

“Good, but not worth all of the hype”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

The food is definitely good, but it's not worth all of the hype and the price. There are some excellent (and better) restaurants in the area that are not as expensive. Don't plan on returning.

Small plates great for sharing. Food was very good and loved the warm bread. Enjoyed my blood orange cocktail.

“Big variety of tastes and small plates - perfect for lunch!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013

We had a very filling lunch at Zaytinya, at a pretty reasonable price - 6 plates, ranging from pepper/feta dip, to couscous with crispy brussel sprouts and mushrooms, to octopus, plus 2 baskets of their freshly-baked pita bread - all for just $60 per person (including alcohol and service). Our waiter seemed a bit distracted throughout the service, forgetting one of our dishes (which was a good mistake at the end, as we would have had to take it to go), and ignoring our request to see the dessert menu, but all in all, we enjoyed the meal. This establishment has a particularly large dining room so plenty of seating space - go and try it!!!

“Decent food, although fairly mediocre service.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013

Overall we thought this place was over – hyped and fairly average. The service was quite poor. Some of the dishes were tasty whereas the others were not particularly imaginative or flavorful. We will check out somewhere else next time we are in the city.
