Hadn't been in many years but it surpassed faint, though positive, memories by miles. Front desk and wait staff aimed to please at every turn without being in your face or hovering. We had 4-course menu and all dishes and drinks were superb: salad, scallop, duck, chocolate ganache. Spouse had soup, scallop, lamb, cheese. Subdued, 2-level dining room was nearly full but not noisy, thanks to carpeting and smart use of wall decorations. Only flaw was having the check dropped immediately after dessert was served - it was the only moment I felt slightly rushed - even though we'd been there almost 2 hours and there did not appear to be anyone waiting for tables. This is the right place for special occasions and high-end expense account meals.
