Every time we're in DC, a stop at Clyde's for dinner is mandatory. All of their Washington-area restaurants are very well maintained, and you feel as if you're eating at a much more expensive restaurant. The Chinatown location is filled with mahogany and great artwork, as well as being very close to the metro stop, while the Georgetown restaurant offers great views of the street and is near the Potomac and a short walk from Georgetown University. Definitely recommend the crab cakes and strip steak. For the location and quality of restaurant and food, most prices are surprisingly affordable at under $20, with many around $10. Even on the weekend, wait times are usually short, but it may be a good idea to call for a reservation.
