“Always been a top 5 for me in DC: Place to indulge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

I try all the new restaurants, but I keep coming back here for special occasions. This last time was our anniversary and we were thrilled - as always. This is a place to indulge. I started off with duck confit in a flaky pastry shell, floating on a little pool of fois gras sauce. OUT OF THIS WORLD. You can't go wrong with the seafood or the beef options. Wine and cheese options are also always perfect. This is the place to go when you want to blow your diet (and your budget) but love every minute of it.

“don't know why it gets good reviews”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

We got seated in an area that looks like a farm. Food was OK, no complaints, but service was only OK, too. Not worth the cost.

“Wonderful experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

We had dinner last night and there is nothing about the experience that I can criticize. The complementary valet parking was a godsend in Georgetown and our table was ready as promised. The food choices and service were both excellent. One interesting aspect was that they had excellent house wine by the glass at a reasonable price. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a special night out and and is doesn't mind the fact that is not small and cozy.

“Good,not great!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012 via mobile

Everyone liked this place. I say , "meh" . Cute room and location. Prices above food quality. Striving for uniqueness rather than taste. Would not survive in NYC. Michelin would turn up it's Gallic nose. It's OK and it's in Georgetown so what the heck?

Positives were good wine list, bread and Service.

“Great restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

Not a lot to be added to the other positive reviews really, but I just have to add my voice to the praise.
The food is excellent, there is perhaps some room for improvement in the wine selection - but the service and attention more than makes up for any small criticisms and is what really makes the place outstanding.
