This place is not as conspicuous as other places on M Street, but I'd say it's one of the best food in town, especially for value! (I try to rate satisfaction taking value into consideration.) The server was very friendly and helpful in suggesting popular dishes. For main dishes, we had the lamb shank, pork loin, and the famous tagliatelle. I thought pork smelled funny, but the rest of us at the table seemed to find it savory.. All others including desserts -- orange cake and pumpkin panna cotta -- were fine. Another thing to note is: Interior is dimly lit but romantic. Bring a date to impress:)
