I hadn't been to this restaurant in many years but had brunch here today. It's about $15 and includes a mimosa, if you drink. The buffet was ample with Mexican food, plaintains and traditional breakfast food and a hot grill area where you could order pancakes or omelettes. The food was good and it has ample outdoor seating in a very historic part of the city, U St. U St. was happening before Harlem in New York city. This area is also famous for it's famous resident, Duke Ellington. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of an apt. building named after Ellington. U St. was revitalized many years ago and is filled with folks at nights during the weekends enjoying the night life here. Public transportation is excellent along U St. via Metrobus or Metrorail (subway).
