I stayed at this B&B for ten nights and was able to walk almost everywhere. It's an easy walk to the Capitol, buses, subway and Union Station, yet in a well lit residential neighborhood where I never felt nervous though I am a senior traveling alone. Mary Jo is a sweetheart and very helpful with her knowledge of the DC area. There is just a continental breakfast, but plenty of it and she is always asking if you would like anything else. Her place is clean and roomy with comfortable bed, sitting room and bath. Your lodging is on the second floor, so not appropriate if you can't do stairs. The home is a 140 year old row house that keeps its character, but has added all the necessary modern conveniences. I will definitely stay here again if I make it back to DC.
