Came here with friends on a Friday evening. We had reservations and got a nice table on the 2nd floor overlooking M street. We started with a pitcher of the classic margaritas....they made them strong, but they were just not as good as I have had elsewhere. We ordered some chips, salsa, and guacamole as an appetizer. The chips were a basket of half pork rinds/half tortilla chips. There were three kinds of salsa that were all good and the guac was also great. However, I think those were about 8 dollars a piece...id probably be ok spending that on guac, but not on chips and salsa. We ended up ordering a 2nd round of those because we were so hungry, but that was over 30 dollars worth of chips and dips?!?! Even at a trendy mexican restaurant I feel chips and salsa should just come with the table, especially when you are paying 12 dollars for two mini tacos. Between us all we had mahi mahi tacos, pork tacos, cheese dip, chicken tacos, and another dish. Unfortunately our server didnt put in some of what we ordered....he didnt seem too appoligetic or upset about some people not having any food while other were finished with theirs.
All of the food tasted great, but again, just overpriced for what it was. None of the dishes were very creative or wowing to justify the price. Glad I came to try it out, but feel no need to return.
