This Busboys and Poets location is situated across the street from a Capital Bikeshare station. So rent a bike, bike around and return in time for a wonderful brunch. My husband ordered the French toast ($7) with fruit and breakfast meat, I ordered a wonderful omelette called the Oaxaca Omelette (pronounced: wah-haw-kah) for $11. It had black beans, cheese, pico de gallo and guacamole, served with whole-wheat toast and your choice of home fries or grits but I opted for fruit instead. You could also order it with egg whites substitute for $1.50 extra. I also treated myself to a Green Tea Cucumber Cosmo. It was amazing! The Busboy and Poets menu has vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. Brunch is served on Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal Holidays from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Enjoy!!
