“Fun for adults and kids”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2011

This museum gives a little history, a little James Bond, a little action, and a lot of fun. There are some activities (not too strenuous) that you can do and there's lots to see and learn. You will learn about the history of spying including some interesting facts about people who might have been spys. We had enough fun that we would go again.

“Definitely a must-see in the District!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2011

Both young and old had a fabulous time, and only wish we had more of it to thoroughly see everything! The exhibits were well-done, with a great deal of planning and thought gone into everything. Looking forward to the next time back!

“Wow, that was really cool. I would go back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2011

I went here for a reception during the AAPS Annual meeting in DC last week. What a fabulous museum! Don't be fooled by the apparently small size - the museum covers 4 floors and is packed with fascinating exhibits and interactive displays. Although many caught my attention, I was most taken by the display of concealed weapons (watch out for that umbrella) and the interactive exhibit on disguises. I wish I had more time; I would have taken much longer to stroll from floor to floor.

“Worth the Admission Fee!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2011

Although most attractions are free in DC, this one charges an admission fee. But it is well worth it because it is so information and well done. Everyone from kids to grandparents will enjoy this intriguing, hands on museum. The adults will enjoy the nostalgia and development of spy technologies. The kids will enjoy the hands on puzzles and gadgets. We didn't pay for the extra activity of the "Case to Solve" but may give it a try the next time.

This is a densely packed museum which is full of interesting information about spys and espionage. Take your time moving through as it is easy to miss some of the AV displays.
