“Great place and good food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013 via mobile

Great English pub with delicious food. Ask for Ryan the owner and he will take great care of you. Large beer selection and focusing on English and Irish beers. It's a huge soccer hangout and DC united bar.

You will be happy you visited. Try the specials, they normally rock.

“Decent Food and nice beer selection”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

The Queen Vic tries a little too hard to be a British pub. That said, the atmosphere is good and relaxed. A decent choice of brews and you are bound to find a nice choice of food selections that try to be English style to go with the beer.

“Great Fish, dessert and staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

Loved the British ambiance, fish and chips in newspaper. The special dessert on the board was delish and the fish was also god. The 'chips' arn't British chips though. Food was a good portion. Staff were super friendly but happy hour was only $1 off the drinks.

“True English food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

I have eaten here six or seven times. I like to come here and kick back and relax with friends. The atmosphere is friendly, relaxed. You see families, friends, couples here making it even more like a real pub vs. a bar. The fish and chips is good and the fish huge. QV makes wonderful soups, and it is never a common soup that you can get anywhere else. I like that the QV staff will switch up and accommodate special requests for food. Thanks for that :)

Great place to hang out.

“Authentic British Isles pub fare”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

Not a bad price, a pretty decent fish and chips, friendly service, and decent music. What's not to appreciate in a neighborhood joint if it can manage each of those results?
