“Good hotel Good Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2013

Hotel is just opposite the Metro (Blue). The location is close to everything including the White house and you can reach others by metro or bus.
Staffs were great and helpful. Everyone were working like they are the host and want guest to be very happy and it did. I never saw anyone with unhappy face.
Breakfast was good in American standard and I could say that this was the best breakfast we had during our 2 weeks trip in US. The best thing during our breakfast was the staff who was very friendly.
Room was very comfortable however, shower was too soft. Other than this everything was just good.
I would recommend this hotel for anyone who want to stay in home away from home.

I stayed here for one night during the week before thanksgiving day 2013. It was clean, and within walking distance to the white house and many of the attractions in DC. Very close to the metro station. I stayed on the 3rd floor. Room seemed a little small to me, but it was very clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was not included in my rate so I can't comment on their food. I payed off-peak prices; so for what I paid ( ~$110/night) I was happy with my stay here. Had I paid top dollars for this hotel I think I would have been disappointed. The best thing this hotel has going for it is location, location, location.......other than the location this is an average 3-star hotel in my opinion.

I always stay at this hotel when in DC. It is convenient to the museums, the metro, the White House and Union Station. The rooms are clean and quiet and the staff is truly nice and helpful. We have stayed here three times in the last few years and I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was clean and overall good for the price (though bathroom was rather small). Buffet breakfast was nice. Complimentary internet access was a definite plus. The hotel's location is also convenient.

It is in an excellent location. Very close to White House and many other attractions. There is a food court nearby and a super market. Room itself is clean and very good. The room is very comfortable. In the room they have provided microwave oven, mini fridge and coffee making facilities. Washington memorial is bit far from this hotel, most of the other attractions are with in walk-able distance. Dulles Airport shuttle takes about an hour to reach this hotel and costs 35$.

I chose the Garden Inn because of its proximity to a meeting I needed to attend and was pleasantly surprised to find it so well situated within the DC area. It was easy to walk to restaurants and interesting areas. The room was large and clean comfortably appointed. Included in the room were a coffee maker (these seem to be disappearing from some hotels) and a refrigerator). There were several channels on the tv. The breakfast in the lobby was fine, a bowl of oatmeal, fruit and coffee was only $6. Bargain! The staff was friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: 915 is in a corner with no neighbors, only a closet next door. Very quiet (except the morning garba...

We chose the Hilton Garden Inn for it's location - there is so much within walking distance, but we did metro a lot because it was November and quite cold. Which was also perfect with McPherson Station literally right across the street.

I had requested a high floor, away from the elevator... we were put on the 4th floor, sharing a wall with not only the ice and pop machines, but the elevators. We decided to stay put and it really wasn't so bad. We were in the back of the hotel so while we did escape the street noise, I was woken up by the garbage trucks in the alley in the early morning.

Every staff member we encountered was nice and accommodating, from housekeeping to the maintenance man who came up one night to fix our TV. All in all, it was a really nice stay, and I know we'd come back on our next trip.

Room Tip: Rooms in the back have less street noise, but watch out for the garbage truck pickups!
