“A side-trip form the Smithsonian(s) or Washington Monument”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

A small attraction with a large impact, and just a slight detour, barely a side-trip, from the National Mall: the Albert Einstiein Memorial is a wonderful statue that really humanizes this intellectual giant. And, what a treat to have a memorial to a scientist, not a politician in the middle of DC, just off the Mall!!

The group of students I was with LOVED to sit on Einstein's lap. We took some great pictures and just had fun!

“Unexpected and kinetic”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

The Einstein memorial is a lovely escape from the touristy cattle call of the mall. Slip away to spend some time with Einstein, and marvel at the beauty of this large-scale sculpture. This makes for a particularly lovely stop during the winter months, when you're likely to have Albert to yourself.

I love this monument! I spend a lot of time here during the summer just relaxing and watching random tourists. This is a fun and romantic spot for a date surprise!

“The Thinking Man”

Right across from the DC mall is the Albert Einstein Memorial. It is a great sculpture and makes you feel good when you see it. You can just sit and rest from all your other sightseeing.
