“An often overlooked site.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

If you love presidential history, take the time to visit the home Woodrow Wilson lived and died in after he left the white house. It is well worth the visit.

“Loved it”

We got lucky and found a Groupon deal for half off admission. House is beautiful and love the historical nature of it.

“Great little quick tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2014

We were able to book a tour on fairly short notice. It was very interesting. The tour guide was great. It only took an hour. My 10 year old got a kick out of it. She was able to play his piano. We also got a discount through groupon.

“Beautiful House - Knowledgeable Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2014

My husband and I toured the Woodrow Wilson House on May 10, arriving for the first tour when the house opened at 10 am. Staff was courteous and started the tour promptly. The tour begins with a 15 minutes video overview that reviews Wilson's life and presidency. A 45 minute tour of the home follows. Our guide, Elizabeth, pointed out specific details and items in each room while discussing Wilson's presidential years and retirement to this residence. The home is particularly noteworthy because virtually all the furniture and items displayed belonged to Wilson and the Wilson family.
It is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed the walk from the Dupont Circle metro into a section of Washington not often toured by visitors. Noted the foreign embassies along the street. If walking from the metro, don't miss the Spanish Steps - just to the east of the Wilson House - with a fountain - a peaceful place to sit and rest and look out on the city.
Groupon has an offer for two admissions for a total of $10 - a nice bargain. If you enjoy history, or just like touring a beautiful home in mint condition, spend some time here.

“Lovely home in great condition”

A pleasant surprise. I loved the insightful tour and getting a peak into the president’s life. Our guides had an impressive knowledge of Woodrow Wilson’s life too. This house is definitely worth a visit.
