“It's Ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

We didn't visit during open house so it was 'just' Ok. There's not much to see if you can't go in-just a name plate of the country on the building with a flag. If you are interested, you will want to park and do a walk through though. There's too much traffic to be able to really see anything just driving by.

“Very interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013 via mobile

Its amazing how many countries embassy's are here!! We would have loved to gone inside of each one. Heard at certain time of year there is an open house tour. Definitely worth visiting then. Every embassy has thier own architecture and landscaping. They are immaculate. There are so many, I'm sure we passed some because they are on both sides of the road. Really neat.

“Awesome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

It is awesome to go walking down Embassy Row and see all these foreign embassies. We went to our embassy and it felt like we were back home! It's a great feeling! Everyone should do this! I would want to go next time they have "Open House".

Look for date when they hold their open house and try to visit several more each year! get to experience several cultures including food samples and a tour of their embassy, and history.

“embassy open houses--an annual event”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

NYC doesn't have this: many of the embassies open their doors to the public on two weekends in May. Last week was the non EU embassies. This week was the EU ones. Last week we went to Egypt, Malaysia, Haiti, Korea; this week we went to Belgium, Great Britain, Italy, Denmark. The only major disappointment was Italy, where we waited over an hour to wait in line again for pizza (for a fee) and espresso in paper cups (for a fee)...very little of the wonderful Italian culture was on display, although there were fabulous Italian cars on the grounds. Wear good walking shoes; although there are buses there are often waits for them.
