“George Town cupcakes, shopping, food!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013 via mobile

It was crowded! This is a great place to eat and shop in good weather! But I prefere more space. Sidewalks are narrow! Food. Was great. Cupcake spot was worth the wait! Good luck!

“Great Food, Neat Stores, and a Nice Water Front”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

If you enjoy unique shopping, delicious food, movies/bars/entertainment and a walk along the water front, you'll enjoy Georgetown. Expect to pay for parking. For pasta, Filomenas has been cranking out amazing food since the 80s. Around the corner, Pizza Paradiso has some of the best brick oven pies in the region. Great french and dessert style restaurants are available too along with fast food. Blues music is hidden but available if you want a night of music. Movies are at the bottom of the hill closer to the water.

“Waterfront”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

Had lunch at Tony & Joes by the waterfront. Food was simple, but sitting by the waterfront is always nice. The weather was in the 60's, but with a cloudless sky it was enjoyable.

“Fun place to wander around”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

You can take the Metro to Foggy Bottom and then walk approximately one mile to Georgetown. It's a very pleasant, safe walk. When you get off of the Metro, there are plenty of places to eat and find a restroom before your walk.
Georgetown is very pretty and a great place for walking, seeing sites, visiting the University, and having food and drinks.
It is also a great place for a work out. Find the stairs on the corner of prospect and M and run them about 8-10 times. You may recognise the site from an old scary movie...

“G-Town has it all!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

I used to walk to Georgetown from work (Rosslyn) every chance I got. Great food, great shopping, amazing neighborhoods. Georgetown has it all! Just make sure that you walk though, driving and finding a parking space can be extremely frustrating.
