Georgetown is a unique place to shop. There is numerous boutiques up and down M Street and Wisconsin Avenue. Also, Georgetown has an unlimited selection on excellent restaurants.

“Beatiful neighborhood”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2012

A charming neighborhood full of bars, restaurants and shops. Most shops are on the street M. It is the most ancient and historic city. Excellent to visit in late afternoon and then dinner at one of the restaurants. Also try a visit to the harbor and see the channel.

“Must to go!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

Georgetown is one of my favorites neighborhoods in DC. You can find exciting shops, different restaurants (from the cheapest to the most expensive), historic places, etc. Georgetown has also a Harbour where you can find a lot of good restaurants in front of the Potomac. Be aware that on weekends Georgetown it's super crowded. To get there, you have to stop in the Foggy Bottom metro station or take the Circulator Bus. Don't miss it!

“Mt Zion UMC”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

I am in Georgetown every week. My favorite restaurants are Chipotle and a small seafood restaurant just 2 doors down from the Mexican restaurant. Can't remember the name, but delicious crab cakes. Bring your wallet when you eat in Georgetown. Be sure to visit the historic Mt Zion UMC, on 29th street, SUnday at 11:00. Lively, inspiring worship.

“Boutiques, food and people watching!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

Young university crowd dominates but the area is wonderful to stroll around when you get "museum-ed" out.Dozens of places to stop for a drink or snack with never ending people watching options. Super crowded on weekends so I like to go during the week.
