“The place for the chocolate lover”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

We have been mulitple times. The food is very good if not amazing, but the chocolate flavored cocktails and desserts are an experience not to be missed for the chocolate lover especially the 3 or 5 course dessert experiences. Even if you want to eat elsewhere you may want to consider coming here for drinks and dessert.

“Fun NON-chocolate Brunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Having been to Co Co Sala previously for desserts and drinks I was skeptical about coming for brunch, and particularly ordering something NOT chocolate as an entree. But I was pleasantly surprised at my artichoke tart and French press coffee. My group shared a couple desserts since you can't come and not have chocolate, which was a good balance for those who are overwhelmed by too much sugar. Prices are pretty high for the quantity you get (even for DC - and definitely skip the prix fixe, you can order the same things a la carte minus an amuse bouche but for a much better deal), and I wouldn't make this THE brunch place you try in DC, but if you're in a mood for sweets or getting together with a group of girlfriends, Co Co Sala is worth a try.

“Chocoholics beware!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

This is a great place to stop off for a delicious, thick, hot cup of chocolate. I had the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate and the 6 tier Chocolate Bon-Bon order.

The Hot chocolate was really out of this world! It was thick and creamy and heavenly!

“Good food, nice decor, cramped dining area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

The food is quite good and we would likely return. The dining area is way to small for the number patrons they try to accommodate. It was fun watching the candy being made, but we were seated way to close to diners next to us for it to truly be an enjoyable dining experience.

“Great food but poor atmosphere.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013 via mobile

If you are looking for a romantic, intimate evening pass on Co Co. The tables for two are extremely close. Between the music and converstions from those around you it makes enjoying yourself easy. Worst part is the proximity of the seats to the bar. In this case a large party arrived and stood by the bar while servers tried squeezing between them and our table.

While the food and drinks are great the portions are not large. Even the angus steak--for $32--is very small. It's certainly worth the time but getting full will cost you.
