“Good value, nice room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

This was a fine hotel for a business traveler. Right next to the Farragut West Metro station and very close to many nice restaurants. A one mile walk to Chinatown. The room was nice, private with everything that you would need.

Stayed here recently for two nights on business travel. Enjoyed the complimentary wifi, snacks in the lounge, and printing. Check in and check out was easy. Good location near multiple metro lines. Room was small but comfortable and clean.

This is the second time that I have stayed at this downtown hotel. It has really gotten a lot better and I liked it a lot more this time. It seemed like there was more space in the room and the staff were friendlier. I like the great water bottles and clean, purified water they provide. It so close to the subway, that you walk downstairs and there you are. Lots of great restaurants around. The food in the hotel restaurant is not bad but a little overpriced for quality.

Room Tip: I stayed on the upper floors and it worked fine.

True about the noise yet one must be very picky to find reasons not to return here or to go to any other DC hotel. 1) Location to Mall, 2) Location to Metro, 3) Free and unlimited purified water with containers. #3 was huge, believe it or not. I can't be going anywhere else, highly recommended.

Location is convinient (one block from the white house) although parking is four blocks away (there is a subway directly below). Service is ok, not great.

We liked the restaurant, wine selection and meal was good.

A no nonsense business hotel. Rooms small but pretty perfectly formed. Clean, good bathroom, wifi works well. I stayed on the 8th and 9th floors facing Farragut Park - peaceful, good for sleeping. Breakfast in the ground floor cafe was buffet only and expensive - so opted for the free fruit, cereal bars, and tea and coffee machine in the 2nd floor club room. Club Quarters is actually cheaper than my employer's marker hotels, so good value too. Very close to Whitehouse and world bank.

Room Tip: Go as high as possible and face the park...

A delegation of 15 persons and I (Interpreter) spent about a week at the end of February 2013 at the Club Quarters Hotel in DC. The group had many needs, a language barrier as well as loud noise coming fron a night club across the street. Mr. Rony Najem (front Desk), Karl, and others kindly dealt with our guests and addressed all issues moving guests rooms, giving directions, supplying needed items in rooms (electric converters etc...). Hats off for the team of staff.

Nabil Tohme

Room Tip: Away from the square due to the night club.
