This hotel has been the best hotel I have ever been too..

No hotel in UK beats this! Firstly the service was great.. we didn't know where anything was and the staff were so helpful in guiding us in the right direction! We were also given a map!

On the map it was detailed in places fl eat.. rating top resturants and also if a vegetarian option was available! For a hotel to do this is above and beyond!

The rooms were massive.. the bed was an high queen size bed which provided the best sleep ever!.. very cosy yet modern at the same time! The bedroom had loads of space as well as the bathroom!

I would recommend this as the number 1 place to stay in Washington.. its great location to the White House and the resturants!

Deffo will be staying here again!

We had a great experience! The foyer following the $17M dollar reno is one of the
sites to see if you are visiting the DC area. Any minor glitch or concern we had during our four night stay was addressed promptly and fixed. The staff were really friendly, you can tell they are not just putting it on.When my cell was not on me the bartender called a restaurant for us on his private cell phone to make sure we could get a last minute spot.Just a nice guy! Location/rooms/staff all pretty much 5 star, but price is highly dependant on when you book as with other DC hotels. We looked at the info and pictures on line, but ultimately found our travel agent did as well or better on price so we went with her (thanks Ola).

Have stayed here a couple times on business in the last year and have found this to be a very solid Westin now after last year's renovations. Rooms are freshly decorated, nice bathrooms, heavenly beds, large TVs with a lot of HD channels and good desk space. The restaurant/bar and public areas are excellent and much improved. They held a lobby reception for SPG members and I had a chance to speak with Anthony the general manager, who is clearly excited about all the improvements his team has been making to the guest experience. Very good location for business or pleasure. I will be back.

Dear ChiLawyer,

Thank you for acknowledging the recent improvements we have made via the renovation and key staff we have added. Anthony is very proud of the product and the rest of our staff reflects that enthusiasm.
Thank you for attending our SPG reception which we host in the lobby from 5-6 pm every Monday and Wednesday. We look forward to seeing you again!

I held our design organizations happy hour at the hotel bar Fringetree Lounge and could not have asked for better service and hospitality. They were very accommodating for our group and never let a drink go empty! All who attended had a fabulous time and much was due to the hotel service as well as the very trendy decor! We will definitely consider this hotel lounge again in the future!

Hotel is close to everything - walked to the White House, the Mall with all the museums and there are enough restaurants around. Hotel is constantly upgrading and is nicely appointed - rooms are lovely. Staff very friendly, smiling and willing to help. Parking is expensive, but truth is there is no need for car or subway.

Thank you for coming and for sharing your feedback with fellow TripAdvisor travellers. We did, indeed, perform a large renovation just last year. I'm glad you were able to enjoy that along with our premiere location here at the Westin DC. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit!

We checked into the hotel before noon on Saturday morning of our quick weekend trip. I had asked for early check in so I was pleased when they told us they had a room ready. We headed up to our room but as we walked in, quickly noticed that the room was far from being ready. A concerned housekeeper ran in and confirmed that they had not cleaned the room yet. Not sure what caused the breakdown here but back down to reception we went. The man at the front desk was very nice and apologetic and found us another room to check into. I think it might have even been an upgrade. This room was ready and it was in good condition. Everything was very clean. Yes, the hotel is an old atrium style but they keep it up quite nicely. Parking is a bit expensive but it is a city so that is to be expected. Overall, it was a very solid stay and it was a great location for site seeing and walking around.

Dear Ronnie,

I'm glad we were able to accommodate your early check-in request. While we cannot guarantee an early check-in (as it depends on occupancy the night prior) we are more than happy to check our guests in early as long as we have a room ready.
Thank you for staying with us and we hope you will choose the Westin DC for your next visit to the nation's capital!

we organized a team event in the 2nd floor restaurant last week--- to do 'iron chef' for cooking and team building. They set up the area really well, and it was a lot of fun for our group. Then we ate the food we'd cooked, played karaoke, and relaxed. The restaurant/hotel really knows how to host this type of event, and service was excellent. Highly recommended.
