Was here last week on a family trip to Washington. We came for lunch and had the most amazing food!! I had the shrimp with grits which was terrific. The whole family enjoyed their meals. Also the cornbread skillet is just amazing!! I we all enjoyed our meal tremendously. Would love to go back.

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

Great food, great service. I am shocked to see negative reviews of this restaurant. We had the bacon lollies for apps and enjoyed the pot roast, blue cheese hamburger, and steak for dinner. The apple pie and ice cream was the best we've ever had. Farm to table restaurant went above my expectations!!!

“Worth the small wait!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

We had a reservation and still had to wait 15 minutes for our table. However it was worth it! We started with a cucumber delight cocktail and boy was it - a refreshing mix of vodka, cucumbers, ginger liquer and a canteloupe garnish. The bacon wrapped dates made us swoon. And the BBQ ribs and skirt steak were outstanding. We had no room left for dessert but the servings are HUGE from what we saw being delivered to other tables. Highly Recommend.

“A Must for Brunch!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

First off, I recommend making a reservation for this place as it gets very busy especially on a Sunday for brunch. We made ours with our OpenTable app which was easy and convenient! We were given the cutest booth by the window. Our waitress Rachel was great and the food was delicious! We would definitely recommend it if you visit DC!

“Tourist Trap--Stay Away”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

There are great restaurants in DC - this place has fattening, less than average food and the service (at least in the bar area) was HORRIBLE. I usually don't write bad reviews but I HAD to. Just terrible. Trust me, stay away.
