“Nice mid week spot for happy hour sans crowds”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

So if you get here on a Wed at 5pm, you will have ample seating whether at the bar or the bar tables. also, they have certain beer and wine and food pricings.
Buffalo chicken flat bread pizza- great taste of chicken and buffalo sauce, could use more cheese though
Mussels- not my fav place to get mussels. Little sauce and it wasn’t even flavorful. It was like a chicken broth and you really didnt want to soak it up with bread. it just lacked character and flavor.
Mac and cheese- comfort food. So delic. Prosciutto in it was a lil salty/chewy kick it needed. Great portion without feeling gluttonous
Margherita flatbread pizza- standard cheese and tomato pizza
Fall salad- this salad was delic. Had walnuts and shaved squash in it. The dressing was oil based and slight peppery spice and sweet. So good. Went so well with the peppery arugula but since arugula is powerful already, dressing did not add to that over powering, it actually complimented it while also having personality.

“Good food and drinks, cramped but not terribly so”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012 via mobile

Went with a friend- the wait for one of the cramped tables was about 45 minutes (7:30 on a Sat) so we took a seat at the long communal table in the middle of the room. It was close quarters, but we don't mind such setups and had a conversation with the couple across the way. I had mussels and steak frites with an Old Fashioned cocktail. The steak frites were very, very good, and our seafood starter being average. The dining room and bar are attractive.

I suspect I will go back eventually.

“Great Sunday brunch food and highly entertaining cocktails”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2012

This is a cheerful buzzing place for Sunday brunch, and it fills up pretty rapidly. If you want a quiet tete-a-tete it's not the place, but for a jolly reunion (as we had), it's very good! Food portions were large enough (and then some), tasty, and speedy; and cocktails were entirely too fascinating -- combinations involving things like elderflower or raspberry or such, so flavoursome that the risk is forgetting they're alcoholic! Great fun before or after the Farmer's Market for a cheerful Sunday brunch.

“Went twice in one week”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2012

In Dupont Circle for a weeks vacation and ate out every night. Liked it so much we ate here twice. Salads are fresh, daily soups had lots of flavor. The filet sliders were awesome. Great service. Fair price.
