“Visited w/ a Veteran of the Korean War”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

Friends in town for a conference. I toured Monuments w. the husband - who is a Veteran of The Korean War. To be there w/ him & see it thru his eyes was extraordinary. While there, we met 2 sisters w. their Dad who also served. The 2 men spoke & came to realize that they were there at the same time. What a gift for all of us that day. When you visit..and you should - look around you & maybe you will be fortunate enough to be able to meet & THANK a veteran for our freedom!

“Don't miss this when you go to D.C.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

I've been to D.C. several times but recently went on a tour at night. Put the Korean War Veterans Memorial at the top of your list. The combination of the sculptures of the soldiers and the wall with the images of soldiers is unforgettable. I felt like I was walking among the those who sacrificed their lives.
The reality and brutality of war was brought to life.

“Very moving tribute”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

Very effectively staged and presented. One is reminded of our veterans service to a distant nation they did not know.

“Peaceful and Respectful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

This memorial is a bit haunting, but it makes you feel like you were there with life size statutes and remember to look at the reflection on the wall behind them.

“What a sight”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

Very near Vietnam Memorial and worth a visit. I thoght it was strange taking pictures with buses in the background. Thought it could be better located.
