“A full day's worth”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2012

Two well restored buildings jam packed with some good pictures and tons of interesting history. We broke the day with lunch at Legal Seafoods round the corner.

“My Favourite Museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2012

We went here briefly - as from April it is open til 7pm. Decided to pop in before heading to dinner....this place was amazing and I will definitely be back. It is a chronical of contributors to what America is today...it has portraits of key people...with interesting stories of their contributions. We managed to cover one wing only - which comprised key personnel during the Civil War, Key architects and individuals who contributed to the design of the city, The Ronald Raegan room. There are also events - there was a viewing at 6.30pm of To Kill a Mockingbird - the original film in an auditorium downstairs - definitely worth seeing whats on, and what special exhibits in addition to the fabulous static collection can be seen. An absolute highlight - for lovers of art and history-wrapped into one.
