“Brilliant”

So many interesting sights including aircraft and model aircraft including the Wright Brothers aeroplane to see and you need at least half a day to see everything.

“weekend in DC”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

I have done this museum many years ago and took the teens last weekend. This was one of their picks and they really enjoyed it. Great for adults too!

“Great tour for all ages”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

Visited in September 2013 with our 2 boys aged 15 & 11yrs. We all loved this museum (although the boys more than myself). We also paid to go on the flight simulator which was great. Well worth a visit if you have any interest in anything to do with air and space.

“Get up close with space and air travel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

You will be left in wonder at human's ability to fly. Spaceshuttles and plane collection were the best.

“A once in a lifetime experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

This was a revelation - to see the Apollo capsule (and others) that I remember as a kid looking up wondering what they were doing all those years ago was a great experience. The presentation is faultless and the range of exhibits almost defies description. A must see in Washington - and we only JUST got to see it due to the Govt Shut-down. Fortunately for us it all reopened on the 17th October (the day we were leaving) so we chose the one museum we had time to see... and whilst we have not seen the others it is difficult to imagine any of the other museums on the Mall offering as much as this one.
