“Wonderful for Children & Adults”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

The Air & Space Museum in Dulles, VA is even better than the one in Washington DC! It's a well-designed, open museum that allows you to view the aircraft from multiple angles. This museum now houses the Space Shuttle Discovery, which is worth the visit. The museum is very easy to navigate even with children and strollers, and there are changing stations available for little ones.

It's free to visit this museum, but parking costs $15 per vehicle. However, if you go at 4pm parking is free, the crowds are smaller, and the museum is open until 5:30pm.

“Good museum, needs a queueing system”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

We arrived in good time for 10am opening, however, there is no queueing system, so it is a bit of a bun fight to get in (in fact it took us 20 minutes to get through the door. It might be better to arrive slightly later and avoid this.

“Facinating trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

The exhibits were very interesting. We especially enjoyed the information about the Wright's Brothers and the displays from WWII. However, it was quite crowded.

“Great musuem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

One of the best hands on museum and the it is free to get in. I enjoyed the Wright Brothers display. Also available are free guided tours. If you miss them at the front desk you can join as you go. Give your group a good two - three hours to see this museum.
